Did we look good and are we playing how we were? We are getting very close to that 2nd place, and that is so important if we want to win the play offs.

And Scotty delivered exactly what he promised, if he could just promise we will win the playofffs.....

It is a very hard call these play offs. We should end up playing Didcot who are definately the weakest of the top 5. A couple of weeks ago i thought that SYCOB would beat Totten based on Tottens big injury list. I would prefer to play SYCOB if we beat Didcot as apart from Bubb they don't score many goals. Totten have recently got the lad that played for Gosport on loan and he is banging them in so they could be more dangerous now.

Saturday was a pretty event free game. Apart from the Penalty and the Goal not a lot else happened. Wilson had a good chance at the end of the first half but the ball wouldn't sit and Porter had a good effort which nearly curled inside the far post.

 

I can't remember Paulton having a meaningful effort on Goal the whole game.

 

The pitch was a bit of a uneven dustbowl, it made even the simplest pass look difficult. In the end we looked pretty solid at the back and nicked a goal with a very good header from vine.

 

As I said not a lot else happened.
