Good performance as well - thought we could have had a couple more. Nobody had a bad game really, although standouts for me were May, McKoy, McKie and Blower.

We lost all our shape when Campana was taken off, for what reason I do not know.

 

Tilbury were a classy side with bags of potential and we beat them so well done to ETFC.

 

Any chance we can sign their number 4 and 5? Their goalie was a bit good as well!

A good win for a team thats only playing for pride and from the comments here it sounds as if we have players with some pride, good stuff, now for Abbey.

 

As for the attendence, well what can a club do? we have some wonderful individuels playing for us who are worth the entrance fee even though we dont and were'nt getting the results. But a good start to next season and we hope they'll rediscover an interest again.

I spent the first half trying to get some decent pictures of our defence - Dave Walton and Dave Allen in particular - (you can decide here if I succeeded) and as a result I heard a lot more than usual of the talking and organising that went on on the field. I was impressed: everything seemed to be constructive and encouraging with little or no bickering.
