Thought we played OK in the first half. Substitutions left us short of pace in midfield and they exploited that. Alaile played well as did Flackie again. Results elsewhere went our way so almost safe...

We looked very short of pace in midfield in the second half...One point I would make, we appear to have forgotten that Niel Marron can play in the midfield. Perhaps we should've used him yesterday?

I was very disappointed with yesterday's showing with very poor performances by a couple of players.

 

Dorms seemed to be the only player capable of passing the ball on the floor to a team mate and Flackie again worked hard with next to no assistance.

 

Hopefully we'll get the outcomes we need on Monday so there won't be any anxiety in the last couple of games.

Cannot argue with the above. I also thought we played far too narrow. Some of the lads looked a little jaded (tired) but there was (imo) a lame contribution yesterday from Burbs, which (imo) did not help our frontline. Cracking goal from Hunter and the build up to that goal was very encouraging. I really thought once we got back to 1-1 that the game was ours for the taking, but we seemed to drift deeper and deeper allowing Carshalton time and space.

However, we cannot win every game so take the defeat on the chin and move on.

I'm fed up of all this getting at the managers.
They are new to the job and the surroundings and are trying very hard.
Goodness knows how difficult it is without you criticising their every move.
Lee and Grant have worked hard to bring through an excellent youth set up and I know that their heart is in the right place and I'm sure that if you chat to them they'd explain the reasons for their decision.
Come on - give them a chance and stop getting on the Managers' backs.

Im sure Gazza wasn't having a dig at the managers, he was just saying Marron could have been used.

 

Also it was Jason & Grant who started and worked hard for setting up the youth system. Credit goes to Lee and Grant though for how they have turned things around.
