Platt was not late, i arrived at 1:20pm to the game yesterday and his car was already there in the car park.

Can only assume the management wanted to try something else with next season in mind, with the fact that he won't be here to play for us next year?

It didn't look to me like he was carrying a knock when he was on the pitch!?

Yash it out for 2 more games according to FA site (3 game suspension total) and Evans picked up his 5th yellow so will miss a match before the seasons out.

I thought team selection was a little odd yesterday with Platt on the bench, Bubb supporting DJ and Harper in midfield. Still a point is better than no points at all.

Just to add my two pence worth on the ref situation - I know we often bang on about how officials ruin games but that guy was just awful.

Several offsides were given that were physically impossible to be offside. As Chris said, he seemed determined to blow for everything rather than playing advantage. And then poor Ryan Fenton almost gets his leg broken and there's no penalty and no card. To top it all off, the ref misses a horrendously obvious push which leads to the unlucky handball, the penalty and the equaliser.

Don't get me wrong, we were poor in the first half, but after Platt came on Sealey finally had something to aim at and we duly scored. And I think (controversially perhaps) that after that we deserved to win. So yes, the ref really did cost us two points, and he was duly barracked as he walked off the pitch.

I think the ref was actually giving more bad decisions in our favour for the first half, how he missed the BLATENT push that was a metre at most away from him is worrying. Im sure some of the offsides were way off as well, and as for the goal kick that was given when DJ kept the ball on by nearly a metre baffles belief!!

By the way i know there were some questions it was DEFINITELY jordan's header.

I agree with all the ref was bad, but I must say some of the reactions from the supporters was far from good.

At the end of the day he's only human and doing his job, a bit of harmless booing is not so bad, but when some people behind the goal lean over the tunnel to shout abuse at him it's not on.

My point exactly Chris,I had a friend with me on saturday and it didnt give a very good impression of what slough town is about.

Sure we get frustrated when decisions dont go our way or we think the ref is below par but i dont think people realise what its like to go off the field to be met by what i saw on saturday we are not millwall or leeds united for gods sake. Emotions are running high but lets all try and calm down.
