Where are all the Romford Fans??????

Recommended Posts

Its amazing, all this season there have been loads of them giving their opinions on the games they have won, yet since Tuesday's draw against Stansted nothing.

I was at the game Tuesday and Stansted more than merited a draw even with their fans giving it to the management "whats it like to see a crowd" yet they soon disappeared leaving about 10 very loyal romfordonians to applaud Both teams off( I thought that was very gracious)

In the bar afterwards speaking to both Tel & Dave thay were upset not to come away with a win, I then spoke to a couple of Romford players who agreed saying they could'nt beleive they had managed to draw the game.

It would be nice to hear the fans views or has squeaky bum time left them to nervous to air their views???????

They're still in Southchurch Park trying to find last weekend's referee.

The way they manage the team it`s more like Chas and Dave.

Some of us have had bigger fish to fry!

Speaking for myself I was one of those that clapped the players off and will continue to do so. For the record I will stick my neck out and say we will win our next 2 matches. Hard games that they will be, but we will win them.

Chancer you state I talk a load of B#####ks which could be true, yet you have not given a view on the game.Do you think as many did, Romford were lucky to get a point??????

Are you a player? did you play for Cider? how do know that I don't know him??? As I have said many times before football is a matter of opinion and you may think he is a good coach but others might not.

I am sure Cider can stand up for himself.

Chancer,I have seen a few good coaches that work for professional clubs unable to cope with the demands and unpredictability of non league footie. They have got disheartened(rightly so in some cases)and decided to stick to coaching at academies, which is more rewarding.A lot of them have the development of players as their main target but in non league footie very often you're judged only by results and "Winning at any cost" is the ruling....wrong or right is not down to me to say.

Never Been. Plenty of comments after the SM game stating how well they played, and Silencer will tell you we acknowledged their achievement. We were poor on Tuesday, bo one will tell you otherwise, but Stansted were not a lot better. You were slightly better, but not a performance covered with glory.

The difference is if SM had played like they have been for the first 10 games then they would be up there with us.

We always try and respect other teams when they come off the pitch. At your place you couldn't even get the dresing room open !

What I find weird is the only time you have ever been on here is to slag us off for being big timers when we have played you!

I have been on here a number of times without referring to Romford, but lately after the home game when certain people commented on the way Stansted played, I have responded with my opinions.

I thought that was what a forum was supposed to be about.

However it seems most people on here want to slag each other off rather than discuss Football releted matters.

PS look back at my older posts and you will see that I actually said I hoped you win the league.
