Looking to reconnect with past rebels fans.

Not sure if people will remember me or not, I am Chris Howick and was at most games between 1989-90 season (year of the Vauxhall Opel league win!) till I left to come over to the USA in 1999. As its been ten years since I left I was wondering how all my old friends were....Mark Elford (Boycie of course), Tony, Wayne,Cliff,Nigel and all the usual suspects, I know Chris Sliski is still an active and ardent Slough Town man. After all my memories of the those heady conference days and the FA Trophy Semi to the despair of the Thornes pulling the plug on the club (the root cause I will always say of the clubs current status). And it has certainly been an interesting 10 years for me...on my 3rd (and definitely last!) marriage and a successful fight against Cancer on my tongue in 07. Look forward to hearing from someone at least!

myself am presently and have been since shortly after you left you may or not know i who am and have now been selling programmes and the like for a long while

Dave, I remember you very well...always a loyal Rebel!

 

As for coming over, I was planning a visit this year but finances unfortunately mean I am not able to! Also my British Passport expires this year so I am left with 2 rather expensive alternatives, either renew it or apply for US Citizenship, neither of which are cheap! Oh well!

 

But I follow the Rebels as much as I can and I am able at least to get footie both on the radio (Sirius Satelite) and TV (Setanta and Fox Soccer Channel) so things over here are no longer a wasteland footballwise!

 

I am hoping that the Rebels survie another year and can build on things. It was a long way down from the conference. I hope to see them back up there sometime soon!
