A good game of football I thought. Both teams had a fair share of possession and I thought that it was a fair result in the end. I also thought that the ref had a very good game, probably the best ref I have seen this season.

Shame about giving away the pen, but it happens, I think if a point was offered before the game it would have been taken. A very encouraging performance again, we battled well, and probably could have nicked a winner, I think we had better chances then they did.

It was a definate red for their guy when the ref blew for the foul. Although Flacky might have fouled their player first.. Im not sure.

Flacky had a very good game and is my MOTM.

I thought that we ended up the better team. Tonbridge may have the "names" but they ran out of ideas in the second half and it was us that had the better chances.

There is some doubt over the penalty. Some say, "no doubt" but others, and some veiwing in the gallery seemed to think it was a cheap penalty and the Tonbridge player went down with the minimum of contact...but I'm not complaining about the result. Like Adam, I would've taken a draw before the game.

I also agree with Adam. I thought Joe Flack was immense last night, leading the front line. It's nice to see him celebrate his goal in a fashion we haven't seen from him since October last season...chest out, arm out and facing the supporters. Man of the match, definately.

In that sort of form, any new manager will need to get Joe Flack on board for next season. He's worth a goal every other game and that's in an injury hit season. Work rate and commitment from ALL was superb again and we finished the game stronger and maybe could've sneaked a win. We've looked and played like a TEAM over the last three games, christ... I'm almost enjoying it again! As for Steve Ferguson, who's he? Was he on the pitch?

A great team effort and an entertaining game as well. Joe was outstanding, but everyone played their part in one of our best performances for a long time.

What a great goal! It was a pleasure to see us us play the ball around like we did in the build-up with such confidence again.

I thought the officials did well last night and it was a far better game of football, with none of the nonsense than we have experianced in the past from Tonbridge.

I don't think they can complain about the red card; the ref had no choice. With the benefit of hind-sight I bet their guy recognises he'd have been better off letting Joe try his luck against their keeper and at least being around for their play-off challenge. Apparantly it was his first game bak from suspension as well. Pity is that it didn't do us a lot of good so late in the game anyway; and possibly denied us all 3 points.

Excellent result last night against a one of the best teams in the league. We rode our luck at times, especially in the first half (someone please tell Ash not to clear/head across his own goal!), and in the end could have nicked a winner at the death. The whole team ran their socks off, Flacky was back to his best upfront and Dee looks a real find on the wing. Hodgey seems to have installed belief and a real work ethic in the lads in his short time in charge.

Still think we need one more win to be absolutely safe so lets keep it going!

I have to agree with earlier comments, probably one of the best performances of the season.

Great entertainment which can only help boost the crowds.

Overall I think we came out marginally ahead but I'm happy with the point.

Special praise to Joe Flack and Paul Shave for their amazing energy and attitude.

Thanks lads it was definitely worth every penny.

Excellent game and agree that towards the end we might have nicked it. However to be fair Tonbridge did miss a few chances and a great save from Tony Tucker second half.

Joe Flack was also my man of the match although Paul Shave was again terrific - his duel with their number 4 was interesting to say the least, spoiled only when they substituted him. Nikki Beale looked very solid at the heart of the defence.

It might have been good to see a couple of subs towards the end just to freshen things up and personally I would have liked to have seen Lee take the step of bringing himself on as sub while the sending off was in progress. He might have been able to use his wizardry for the free kick.

Good performance from the lads again last night. Just shows what a bit of hard work can do. Tonbridge are a good passing side but we made it ver ydifficult for them and apart from the great save Tucker made late on I dont remember him having to do much else.

MOTM had to be Flacky for his tireless work, he looked like the striker of last season. Dee looks a great player, i hope we keep him beyond this season.

Special thanks goes to Lee Hodges, who in his short time at helm has managed to instill a belief in the players and put smiles back on the faces of the blue army!

Thought we played really well last night. Quality performances from shave and flack. Thought the new guy at the back done well, winning loads of headers in our box. Think we need to use Dee more, getting him hugging the touch line and stretching teams. Roll on saturday!

Well done to all the fans last night for really getting behind the team although there is one but....we didn't get far enough into our songs to do the shoe army.

We must do a big one before the end of the season!

Three cheers for the team and the crowd last night - top effort from one and all.

It's great to see such good team spirit - theres a good few photos of the team celebrating Flackie's goal last night and Grant taking a bow at the end of the match that will be up on the website tonight. There's definitely a good feeling about the club now that the team are playing under slightly less pressure. Great to see Nikki and Dee settling in so well and joining in with the good team spirit.

Can't wait for the weekend double bill!

Yep. echo all of above. Top team performance again ! We did not win the game but it actually felt like a win ! I also think a mention to the defence and Mr Heffs for keeping the line. Shavesy has been a total revelation, and his work rate and conviction to the cause imo is rubbing off on the others too. I also agree that Dee would be suited to hugging the line (Hodgey, have a word wink as he has much to offer and i love his smiling attitude.

The only downside...please can we stop conceding goals just as we are finishing celebrating one of ours ! grin

So, well done to all !
