IF, and that is a BIG if at the moment, but if Club 1893 win the League there must be more than just a doubt regarding their promotion as they will be playing next season at Broxbourne Borough's ground.

I would be surprised if Brox Bor ground is up to the required level for Ryman Div North footy.

Sure someone from Club 18-93 will respond. evil

evil2 STILL no response from Club 18-93 regarding the ground grading at Broxbourne Borough evil2

OldTowner - I'm not entirely sure where you're coming from, haven't you heard the phrase 'Silence is Golden' and presumably Enfield 1893 are keeping a dignified silence. Goffs Lane is more than up to the required standard and has already been rubber stamped by the men in suits at Soho Square.

It was JUST a question - no hidden agenda.

If Goffs Lane is up to Ryman standard then good luck.

I did not think that is was and therefore simply "asked a question" regarding poosible promotion, compared to Rumford.

Some of you Club 18-93 lot just can't understand when someone asks a question.

Always looking for the hidden agenda doh........when there is not one.

Also Goffs Lane has one of the best playing surfaces in the whole of non league football, it makes a billiard table look like a ploughed field and that's something the FA would also take into account when ticking their boxes.

Actually it's not. The ground grading is based on fulfilling a preset criteria. A nice pitch is not a criteria. A grass based pitch of a suitable size is. In the same way if the requirement is two turnstiles, one nice shiny one is not sufficient.

Two games against Bowers in 3 days will be interesting, Thurs 16th at Bowers, with the return fixture on the Saturday.

And so it proved. I think I'll do an extra couple of quid on the Lottery this weekend.
