Hang on,what's all this anti-Romford campaign? I thought they were the good guys!! grin Still up the Boro,you see the real friends in the difficult moments.

IF, and that is a BIG if at the moment, but if Club 1893 win the League there must be more than just a doubt regarding their promotion as they will be playing next season at Broxbourne Borough's ground.

I would be surprised if Brox Bor ground is up to the required level for Ryman Div North footy.

no i am not touchy i don't give a monkeys who wins the league. just glad enfield are concentrating on league now, hopefull ythey send weakened side to the cup final saturday

Not to happy with the talk of Southend Manor Rolling over last night! they played well for long parts of the game but we scored 2 really well taken goals and played some good stuff ,so just because they beat Romford on saturday don't mean they would roll us over! some the Romford boys on here think there unbeatable the Southend Manor players were saying how poor Romford were on saturday and that it could and should of been more!

what if the upeachother townies dont raise the 200k or they might have to drop into the spartan league to play at Q E . now that would make everyones day grin

Cant see how the comments were said about Romford, we only arrived 30 minutes before kick off (Poxy A12)... doh

In response to the Romford quote earlier in the thread, to be fair, Manor tried last night against Takeley the same as they do any game, we always do. Due to commitments and 9 injuries (5 games in 10 days, 7 for the boys who play Sunday football) Manor had a bare 11 that was scratch to say the least.

Also, despite being a goal down to a decent Takeley at half time, we had a long spell of pressure and a couple of decent chances 2nd half before a spectacular 30 yard own goal killed the game off at 75 minutes. At 2-0, it was game over and we did well to keep it under 3!

I cannot believe any team at this level would not want to put in the effortand try your best.o try and win. Okay if your 9th playing 10th there may not be too much to play for but you would always want to perform to your best.

I am sure Manor wanted to ruin our promotion chances, and went to Takely hoping to do the same. I am in no doubt that Eton Manor, Sawbo, and Barkingside will do all they can to rain on our parade. I am sure those playing Enfield and Takely will do the same.

I am trying not to worry about it for more than 16 hours a day at the moment.
