Play Offs...who will get there?

With truro sneaking two 1-0 wins it is for them to lose out on auto promotion. We will definately finish second. So it looks like us v Didcot(who have returned to form) and Totton v Beaconsfield. I reckon it will be us beating Beaconsfield in the final at our place. They are quite strong but we have match winners.

Hopefully somebody from the chasing pack i.e. Thatcham or Bridgwater can put some pressure on Didcot meaning they would need to get something from their last game away at Truro.

 

The next week could be massive with both us and Truro playing 3 games in 7 days. If we're still 7 points behind Truro after the games next Monday then I think we're have to except that the play offs beckon.

 

Although I would fancy our chances via the play-offs, the games are effectively a one off cup match, form goes out of the window and whoever plays well on the day wins, there are no second chances.

I am with Mrs Cat here, i reckon us then Totton then Beaconsfield then Didcot. But a few games left so who knows. If we have indeed got our mojo back then we will come second.

Does the bottom even matter now, are any teams actually going down? Maybe they should promote extra teams rather than not relegatng teams, from what i have seen us Totton and Truro look more than good enough to go up and each team deserves it, it is going to be a shame that one of us can't go up, just hope it isn't us!!!!

Semi final is on Tuesday 28th April and final is on Saturday 2nd May.

The semi-finals could be Mon, Tues or Weds depending on the night the home team normally plays - the teams finishing 2nd and 3rd will be the home teams.
