I noticed in the Centre Spot on Saturday the Eton Manor V Enfield game is going to be played at Ware (Enfield's home ground). Romford play Eton Manor away a week before at Waltham Abbey (Eton Manor's home ground).

 

With the league still undecided and both Romford and Enfield still fighting it out, it is surely unfair that Enfield get an extra home game and therefore one less away game?????

 

If the league is still to play for come the Eton Manor V Enfield game, it cannot be played at Ware?????

Boroman We tried for ages to get this game arranged with Manor, it was at Eton Manor's request for it be played at Ware that's why the League said it was ok.

Don't dispute that, and I don't for one minute think there is anything underhand but in light of where things now are it is not the correct thing to do.

It also devalues our league.

Interesting.. shouldn't make a lot of difference at our level, but home advantage deffo benefits the better supported sides. So what ia wrong with playing the game between Apr 25 and May 2? League cup final is on May 4, so season not officially over.

Romford had a 20 point lead a couple of weeks back If they bottle it and are caught then its their own fault .
