6 points MAY be enough. 7 should be enough. I think Boreham Wood are the team to catch. Fourth bottom should keep us up. We must win our next two and see where that leaves us. Probably still going to need something from Sutton or Staines but two wins out of two next up would put us in a very good position.

Yes, slightly surprised that Ramsgate seem to have given up the ghost so easily. Move up one place and who knows what might happen in the summer...

Why is everybody under the delusion that only 3 will go down.

Yes-there are rumblings of clubs in trouble (including margate-the club have a tax bill to pay within 3 weeks-just like Fisher !!).

 

I hope you are all correctand that only 3 will go down-but please provide specific facts to substantiate your 'claims-as to me-its merely speculative.

 

Frankly-with the other clubs all picking up points-i can't see 47 points being enough-its got to be at least 49-3 wins out of 4 -oouch.

 

Yesterday was unfortunately a telling and pivotal defeat imo.

2007/08 - Boreham Wood, fourth bottom - reprieved.

2006/07 - Harrow Borough, fourth bottom - reprieved.

2005/06 - Hendon, fourth bottom - reprieved.

 

That's not to say fourth bottom will definitely stay up this year, but you can see the pattern.

Is it a case of 'reprieved',or the fact that in previous seasons,only the bottom 3 definately went down plus one from one of the 3 leagues at step 3.

 

Its different this season-the bottom 4 all go down-so again, unfortunately-previous seasons were not 'reprieves'-but simply the way it was decided ;and this season-it is the bottom 4 to go down.

Boreham Wood stayed up last season because Halifax went bust in the Conference.
