What would happen if Windsor were to get in the play off final at stag meadow? I've been told Bedfont are also playing at stag meadow that day?

That is an issue that has been raised, but no one yet has an answer.

 

Basically, the play-off final will take priority as it is the higher competition but what day do you change the Bedfont Green game to?

 

We are hardly going to want a game played on the pitch om the Friday night before a play-off final and if Bedfont play on the Sunday then that would mean the Combined Counties league would have to apply to extend the season, so I believe.

 

It will be an interesting one to sort out.

I had a great time on Saturday - thanks to all at BGFC for making me so welcome (even though I was accidentally wearing a sort of Wembley strip).

I was really impressed with the BG team, particularly 4, 7 and 11 (Moore, McLusky and Henry, I think). They were all subbed by the end of the game so maybe their manager doesn't agree! Wembley looked decent on the break but their back four was really fragile. The first half was fairly tough but after the break the goals started pouring in. It's unfortunate that everyone was pressing for the 100th goal of the season and got caught on the break.

BG are going for 120 goals this season but our record at that level is 119 so, sorry boys, you'll have to settle for a couple less.

Two more things; the fifth goal (scored by Merritt, I think) reminded me of Carlos Alberto's goal in the 1970 World Cup final. Well, a bit. Enough to remind me of it, anyway.

And finally: All three officials were spot-on. Not fair! Why does Step 4 get competent match officials while we have to put up with recovering alcoholics, lifestyle consultants, failed estate agents and other dregs of humanity? Was it something we said?
