Ghosts

Recommended Posts

Zeal. My mind is open to a lot of things (such as corruption etc). The existence of ghosts is something I addressed in my 'On Occasions When One Gets Bored' post, to a certain extent.

If I was asked yes or no, I would say yes, I believe in them. Yourself?

I heard it on a radio news poll. i'll try and find it for you though.

I do however believe in ghosts, and my uncle is now a registered physic. he can talk to the dead. he goes round people's homes and hold "meetings" there with the dead.

Aparently he is very good at it.

I've also seen ghosts and felt their presence. Very spooky.

Not really no, although I'm open to persuasion.

I don't know about the talking to the dead idea. That's going a bit too far into religion, which I don't 'do.' However, true story, in my old house I was lying in bed one night. On the far wall was the shadow cast by the bed, from the light on the landing. I happened to be looking at this wall with the shadow on when all of a sudden I saw the image of a hand appear on the wall in the shadow. A perfectly normal, human shaped hand it was. It disappeared as quickly as it had arrived a couple of seconds later, but it was definitely there. I looked out on the landing, and no-one was about.

I could go on into many a ghost story, but they're for late nights when your drunk and in some dark, wooded area that you shouldn't really be in, but your mate wanted to go there so f### it, you followed, you think you're the only one, but underneath the surface you know all your other mates are sh#tting it too, even the one that came up with the original suggestion, the b'st'rd...

I'm all for obtaining money though dubious circumstances, but ripping off people who are grieving for their loved-ones by making out you can talk to their dead relatives seriously fks me off.

I didn't say i agreed with it. Anyway, if people are so stupid as to invite him round to talk to their dead family, then what do you expect? If people believe in it, then that's their decision.

So people in denial about a bereavement, and simply wishing, for example, to say goodbye one last time, are stupid? Are you condoning the idea that your uncle or whatever may be obtaining money through a very low (as in lowest of the, not high and) form of deception?
