With the transfer deadline the RAMS made their final signing of 2008/09 as Luke Coleman joins on loan for the rest of the season from Margate. The 20 year old was a product of Gravesend & Northfleet's 2006/07 youth team and spent a period on loan at Margate before returning to the Fleet and scoring a stunning winner against Kidderminster. Rejoined Margate for 2007/08 but a serious bout of pneumonia in early 2008 cut his season short. Has just completed a 3 month loan at Tunbridge Wells where he got 8 goals in 10 starts.

Played well for the first few games (i.e. impressed) then IMO turned up for his wages, unfortunately I think his face didnt fit for TY and if u feel this is a good signing.... short lived methinks.

Isn't it more of a case that he's unable to get into a Margate starting place (except at the moment in the Reserves), and Ramsgate are looking for Kent League level players for next season?

Ben Lewis signed forms with you last week. However you apparently didn't put in a 7 day approach so technically I think it was an illegal approach. He is now unavailable for Maidstone or Margate until things are sorted out.

As I say check our forum. We knew Lewis was leaving on Saturday, but we didn't know to which club. We found that out last night. He is a good player, got a bad back though.

I did check and it is suggested on your forum it might be an Aprils Fols too? Only time will tell I guess but if true, thanks for the info.
