Windsor V Andover

Believe it, Cahill had a stormer and looked superb. We really whipped the ball in from the wing and if Chenns had a better strike partner we had have had more. Wallace looked much better when he came on and Ben looked dangerous. We genuinely looked like we may score each time we attacked. Problem is the game was poor and Andover were not very good and the fact we spent 20 mins discussing the best tea is testameent to that fact.

So mine for the England game then guys, just remember who is bringing the tea, who is bringing the milk and who is bringing the sugar, ROCK & ROLL!!!

Not the most exiting game but it was still 100 times better than Saturday.

For the first time in several weeks we actually looked like scoring every time we attacked. It would was good to see the wide players well involved in the game, taking players on and putting in some good crosses. This has been lacking recently.

We looked to be coasting a bit in the 2nd half but at 3-0 we looked comfortable and looked like there were more gears to move up into if needed. I really do think if Andover had scored we would have just upped the tempo and quickly restored the 3 goal lead.

It was good to see some of the confidence return to some of the players. Coyne in particular seemed to be enjoying himself in the 2nd half, those long cross field passes were back in operation.

Fuzzy, as I mentioned last night I thought you guys were being a bit harsh on Vine. He looked to be just having a bad day at the office. Although he did look a bit slow (maybe carrying a knock) he was still putting himself about just nothing seemed to be going for him.

Without doubt Cahill was Man of the Match. He didn't put a foot wrong all night and set up 2 of the goals.

As for the great tea conversation I would say Tetley are no1. Also the Cheese Burgers were top draw, the chips weren

I have to disagree on 3 points:

1] Vine won most of the balls in the air and got some good knockdowns but I think the front 2 were too far apart to benefit from it. For someone who is noted for being good in the air the service from the wings was poor.

2] The burgers tasted funny to me, can't put my finger on it but sort of a metallic taste.

3] Tea is very much overrated, give me a decent dark roast Colombian coffee with cream anyday!

Vine did well but it will take a few games for him and the side to get to know each others game. Lets remember most this side has been together for a while now so know each other very well.

Cahill played well at right back loved his idea of running up the bank to take the throw in.

As for the tea debate. We all know Yorkshire tea is best!!!

There is no right or wrong answer, it is about taste and preference, it is subjective not objective. It is like white, milk or dark chocolate. I personally prefer dark and think it is the best I am quite happy for those with lesser taste to say white is best, they are not wrong merely have diferent taste. I actually quite like the Irish tea I had when I worked in Bracknell, but PG or whatever major brand is on special in Tescoa will do me!!

As for the match, well i thought Vine looked like he wasn't overly interested at times and didn't look like a centre forward. When Wallace came on he did more and looked more dangerous than Vine in the first five minutes than Vine had all match. And the comedy of Scotty sending vine to the furthest pint of the pitch before bringing him off was top quality.

i agree it may be lack of match fitness, not having played with the team etc but he will have to prove he is BETTER than Wallace or Ben to justify his being in the squad, and I am doubtful. Andover were a poor side and if ever he wanted to shine (as the Mighty Cahill did) that was the match to ddo it in, and he didn't.

One last thing on tea, is it best out of a pot or straight into the mug, tea leaves or tea bags??? There's a quandary

Should Scotty start with Adam Wallace, or bring him on later as a sub?

Or to put it another way -

Are you a prelactinarian or a postlactinarian?

(For Woody's benefit, that means "Do you put the milk in the cup before or after the tea?")

Is there a correlation between people's preferences regarding tea and their preferences regarding our front two?

Obviously, Chennels is the tea. Then Adam is the milk, Vine is the sugar, Ben is lemon, and Willo is ice cubes...

I need to lie down...
