Okojie was a sub for Harlow when we played them a few weeks ago so he cant be anything fantastic if they are willing to let him go and doesnt play for them? Burbridge is a good signing if he can actually play games and is not injured every week like he usually is. Ollie Allen has been at both Thurrock and Harlow without making an impact in recent months.

I think a club like us should be signing better players than Harlow's sub players. Just shows how downhill our season has gone!

If you read the Harlow forum, they are not happy that Okojie was released and are fearing a backlash tonight. From what I can remember from the TV show, he played right back or right midfield, is pretty rapid and has alot of tricks.

We need bums on seats at the moment and I think we've done well to get these guys in. There's opportunities for all of them (and everyone else for that matter) to secure a place for next season if they do well.

We need signings, and the club have done extremely well to even get as many signings as they have! A few fresh faces is what we need to freshen the squad up! They sound like good signings, good to have Burbs back, and hopefully he can stay fit.

 

I don't think the people involved in getting these players have had much sleep over the last few days and hopefully all their effort in bringing in these players will pay off.

 

And jmez is anything going to please you? Just wait untill you have seen them play for us to make your mind up.

Okojie played a number of games for Stortford's first team this season under the previous manager so is clearly no mug. Beale is well known locally and in the absence of Cole is a dependable signing for us. Burbs we know about and Allen was highly regarded before a knee injury disrupted his career. All 4 have played plenty of competitive, first team football, and are all very welcome. We need to get players in and they need an opportunity to put themselves in the shop window and earn a deal for next season, either with us or elsewhere.
