MyFC Society Board - does it matter for EUFC?

Well, just seen that one of the few candidates who could have made a difference has decided not to stand for election to the MyFC Society Board. The whole thing has become a charade and most of the remaining candidates have nothing good to offer. This is bad news for the club. However, it will probably mean that the demise of MyFC is nearer, which is good news for the club.

My opinion is, that in the entire existence of MYFC, the board has had no power. If Will wanted it, it happened, otherwise it didn't.

It is Will's FC. A board of strong willed and able people MIGHT have made a difference, but as you say, the ones left are not up to the mark.

Its never had a chance IMO, sold as being part of an Industrial Provident Society yet at no stage has it been run as such. Past and prospective candidates for the board have no concept whatsoever about Society.
And no IPS in this country has an "operator" calling the shots.
In fact it makes a complete farce out of being an IPS in the first place.
