now then before you shoot me down in flames, when we played at southwood i do believe that the bar was open to both home and away supporters. There was a good atmosphere in there and some good banter. once we where in the ground we wasnt allowed back in the bar, obviously, so i was wondering if the same will appy at hartsdown before the game. ONLY EQUIRING as i quite like ramsgate mick and MARK the builder bloke ?

If the match is segregated then so should the bar be i.m.o.

At Ramsgate the fans were segregated but the bar wasn't.

I too have no problems with the chaps you speak of or many other Rams fans for that matter but segregation should mean just that...segregation...& that should include the bar if its within a segregated part of the ground.

I personally have no problems with it NOT being segregated but somehow I can't see the club going for it.

I'm sure some of the opposition fans will pretend to be home or neutral fans just for that reason..to get a drink,as they did last year.

It's a big ask (or is it?) but maybe NO segregation might be worth a try or would I be hoping for too much in saying that.

That is a real concern CE. Wouldn't it be nice if banter on the day could be controlled & not be followed through with serious insults & unruly behaviour & that any hooligan element or once a year trouble makers could make themselves scarce for the day.

I doubt the club will take that chance somehow.

i cant see the club taking a chance either but it worked at southwood prior to game, not saying that it shouldnt be seggregated but a joint bar before kick off would be good, but then comes the question how will they seperate us before kick off, wish i hadnt started this now lol

Im sure also part of the problem, is that your bar is in the grounds, unlike ours,.. perhaps the stewards fear we may go out of the door that goes on to the terrences, i was there at a Margate V Rams Reserves game earlier in the year, althou we did stand,(admittedly at a bit of a distanced) in the home end with the home supporters, there was no bad feelings at all and there were a few in the end, and met the likes of AB, and the great Alan, (Bluegate) wink .. of course it be a lot different, with a crowd of around a thousand, it isnt going to be very practical, im sure getting a drink is gonna be a nitemare,..still im sure you arrange outside caterers, and beer tent for us grin oh and some Red Wine for me please... good luck

dont panic i have sorted it out. a beer tent in the park next to the ground so everyone can join in the fun, we could have throw a sponge at bluegate alan- apple bobbin with cookie - this will all start at 1sh then after the game back to the tent for some more games and fun fun fun. Trying to think of some other games where we could involve mr sanderson.....................any suggestions and remember he is human after all. what a brilliant idea eh
