Well hello BC ! Trust you are in good health and obvioulsy you are in good spirits wink Hows life in the connie south. I Still expect you to romp the playoffs but you certainly gonna have to do it the hard way after the way your side has fallen away since xmas. As for us, been a funny 'ol season but we can re-group next one and (who knows) we may just surprise a few folk. smile

I "return" almost every day, Gazza - always interested to see how you guys are coping with the ups and downs of life in the Ryman. Just choose not to join in with your banter - plenty of moaning and groaning on the sloppybox (sic) to contend with, without joining in with yours! Hi Keith - yes, still in good health (for a 63 year old, anyway). Glad you think we'll romp the playoffs - not so sure myself (we've been known to blow playoff matches in the past!), but we'll give it our best shot. Good luck for next season - as per my response to Gazza above, it would appear that there could be some changes at NL next year (per Rik the Dik's posting on the soapbox), and life could be a little easier in the Ryman without Dover and, probably, Staines.

Umm.. what's the title of this thread? evil Or did you think I meant we're getting that Cappuccino machine at last!

Dover have really romped home, BC, in a style that neither yourselves or AFCW managed to achieve. Whoever gets left behind in the BSS this season will have a battle next season.

Will you be making a trip south for the play-offs?

Can't manage to make it down south for this season, Rik (had originally intended to come down at Easter, to see the Worcester, Hampton, St Albans and Braintree games), but personal circumstances forced a postponement (just as well - as we wouldn't have picked up the 10 points from those games if I'D been there!).

Will be down for the first couple of weeks of next season though, to see the opening matches in whatever league we're playing in.

Having just read the Chairmans latest Blog it looks like a decision on who will be offered the post of Manager is pretty imminent.

 

Whoever it is, I just hope they make the effort to get to every game wink
