Congratulations on the win today - felt we deserved a point, but saying that, maybe we didn't as we gifted you two goals.

 

Please could you ask Jimmy McFarlane to retire. We very rarely win when he's playing against us, going back through all those years he was at Purfleet/Thurrock with Colin McBride. One of the best defenders to have played in this league for years, I really rate him.

 

Fair play to your keeper too, for having a cracking sense of humour - a pleasant change from some of the keepers at this level who bite at the slightest thing - Tony Tucker at 'Ricay being a prime example.

 

Good to see a decent band of travelling supporters - that was our best home league attendance since we left Claremont Road back in September.

 

Good luck for the rest of the season - and for the play-offs should you get there - no reason why not as Sutton and Carshalton seem intent on throwing away as many points as possible!

Could not make the game today, as we discussed previously, you are right about Jimmy, he used to do the same to us when he played for Purfleet/Thurrock, but have to disagree about Tony, we had a great crack with him when we last played at Bill&ricky, must have caught him on a bad day.

Good luck to yourrselves for the rest of the season, it will be a great shame to see a team like Hendon dissapear...........
