No it wasn't me!!!

I was the one with the notebook looking unhappy frown !

Our 'keeper (Matt Nash) is a great player for us and regularly makes saves that stop what looks like certain goals... Pity he couldn't quite get it tonight though!

Thought the referee was being very picky in giving you all those throws and freekicks, especially when we was given so little all game.

But its all you can expect when we are missing one half of the best central defence in the league and our top scorer was on holiday!

Not to mention the odd subs we made after you scored (No surprise we waited that long...) We took off one of our more likely goal scorers to bring on a youth team player (Who looks good but very raw at the moment) and then took off our right back to replace him with... Another right back! When we were looking for a goal that was the last thing we needed

Glad to hear it Elfie. To be fair to the Ref on throws in the first half he clearly told you right back to take the throw in his own half and he promptly took it 5 yards in ours. Once he does it once he has to make sure he picks players up for it. To be fair to ours they all seemed to listen to him. From that point in the first half all your 6 and 8 wanted to do was have a go at him when perhaps it would have been wiser for them to play football. I would be interested in the foul count as I reckon it was quite even.

Anyway hope your fan has chilled out a little wink

Agree with TRS on the Bookham 2-2 Cove game, can only recall 3 attempts on goal, 2 from Bookham and 1 from Cove, thought both defences played well with the ball pinging round at 100mph and not alot if any football played. Both side committed and fair through out.

Johnno is currently playing the part of Dopey in snow white and the seven dwarfs at euro disney Think Duncs had to work so couldnt make it.

Quite an even game but thought we were on top for most of it without creating much a few crosses flashing across the Bookham goal line and a couple of shots but thats about it. Stonewall penalty in the first half turned down by the ref who got so many decisions wrong on the night for both teams. Bookham had one really good chance in the second half which the big number 10 blasted over but that was about it. Not much football played but very difficult on that pitch.

EE on saturday.

Yes you did have most of the play Brunty and as you say apart from a couple of crosses that flashed across not a lot else, we did better last 15 mins but a draw was a fair result, have to say I thought it was an pen as well but the official missed the initial foul on the centre half and after the game he said he got the ball 1st before the man, so maybe he got it right confused
You liked to get it forward quickly and directly and harried the ball when we had it, your keeper has a great kick especially dead ball 1st half, nice flat angle too.

Neither side put their foot on the ball hence 100mph football

I'm back fellas.

I was unfortunately sacked from my position as Dopey in Disneyland. Not much reasoning behind the decision but was informed by someone that it was to do with my height. Standing at 5ft 10" they felt i was probably too tall for the part. I was perfect as dopey but towered over Snow White!

Feel quite upset that i was not able to step onto the hallowed turf of meadowbank! NOT!!

I did come back Monday but with the time difference, jet lag and the clocks going forward or back whatever it was, i think i was in a different parallel time zone or something so couldnt make it! Paris is a heck of a journey by Eurostar. 2 hours!

End of season tour is now cancelled. Instead i am using the fines money to take all the players to Disneyland for pre season training. I must have walked 25 miles in 3 days with my daughter on my shoulders. Bloody hard workout!

So there's no truth in the rumour that Johnno was involved in a traffic accident recently and when a woman got out of the other car and had a go at him, accusing him of being 'thick'.....

He replied.... "I'm not dopey !!!"

To which, she replied, "Well - Which one are you, then !!"

bolt

Sorry I couldn't make it down to Meadowbank last night. Decided to have a night in after coming down with a heavy cold. (Thanks, Grand-Daughter - NOT !!!)

Very good recovery from the centre half who got the ball after initially being fouled, probably the only decision the ref got right on the night wink

I did think it was a foul by our CF but the ref let them go all night! you knew it was pen from your reaction - you kept very quiet! lol
