Highlights had to be Jr Coyne looking like a coke addict with sherbert all over himself and Hovis in a right state!!

I think yesterday is what you might call a hard fought out draw between 2 teams near the top of the table.

Had an interesting chat with Terry O'Connor in the stag about if SYCOB went up it would 'kill the club' I wonder if they will pull out of the play offs? Its abit like Maidenhead can't afford to be a conference club as that would damage the club in the long term look at Lewes they are on the brink of Admin.

 

It also makes you wonder if any club at this level could ever get into the conference now. Truro may but if their chairman loses his fortune they'd be stuck even with crowds of 1000+ a week after all they pay one player

Mrs CAT is correct. It was a hard fought draw. Unspectacular. borderline boring! Nothing is decided yet, but we need to get a win quickly and find the belief again.

 

If it is to be playoffs then I'd rather go into them with 6 or 7 wins from our remaining games, as opposed to limping over the playoff line.

 

We've become a bit static, lost our dynamic approach. People have stopped running beyond the front player(s).

 

Let's not be afraid to bomb forward, goals win games.

 

We should be working harder at this stage of the season than any other stage of the season.

Is it coincidence our surging attacks have coincided with Ryan being out and Fagans drop in form? Also I really wish Scotty could decide on his front two as that can't help the rest of the team having a different pairing each week either.

A win Tuesday and we are back on track for 2nd, if Truro lose and we win then the pressure is back on, but games are running out. To win the playoffs would be like two cup finals in one year for us. What a mega celebration weekend that would be!!!!! (assuming we go up and win the B&B Cup)

How good would that be!!! But we need to win tomorrow and get another run going, as if it is going to be the play-offs then we want to be the team going in with momentum.
