If not trust me it wasnt good anything in the first half & was only slightly better in the second, lit up by as Barney said a cracking goal by Edgar.

The first half had to be the worst footballing specticle i've ever been to. Potters Bar were the worse team i've seen at this level, the problem was we were worse.

 

The players must really have had an almighty rollicking at half time cos their urgency picked up in the second, afterall, it could'nt get any poorer.

 

Saying all this we could have had 6-7 goals in the second half. However the 3 we did score were very well taken and of a very high standard.

 

All this performance states is we can play indifeently but still end up winning, oh but for this kind of form earlier in the season and we would have had at least a play off spot to look forward too.

 

Overall, a satisfying result in very wintry conditions and missing both Allen and Jones too.

The game was poor.

 

We got the right result and the boardroom became a members' only bar from 3.15pm onwards. Shows working in partnership when the boards from boh teams have to share a stage! Now what is that all about?

Yes....not a classic was it.

First half just VERY POOR from both sides but at least P Bar tried to pass the ball around and had a couple of good efforts, whereas Town were just awful and all over the place.

Second half the tables turned and P Bar were poor and looked to have run out of ideas and puff !

Town dominated long spells and could / should have scored a few more than 3.

Winston must of got an absolute bolloxxing at have time, as he put in the best 35 mins in a Town shirt, before being subbed.

Overall, not the best of games but a good spirit shown by Town in the second 45.( or 50 for some strange reason - perhaps the Ref was enjoying it ? )
