Finished 1-0 to Slough. Good performance from the lads who worked hard and cut out the errors.

Both keepers made some good saves in the first half with Jacko relatively quiet in the second.

Goal from Yash on 75 as Jordan hooked the ball on and the keeper misjudged the length of the through ball leaving Yash to catch him in no mans land and prod the ball goalwards from 25 yards towards an empty net.

Just about deserved it today on chances, but the lads have got the reward for the effort and football they've played today.

A pat on the back for all the players and staff. We ground out a result today.Jackson was inspiring with his calls. The defence worked hard.Evans led from the front,Sweeney's tackling was well timed and I thought Kyle Jeffery had an excellent game for someone so young and Ryan Fenton made a huge steadying influence on the left.My man of the match, though, would be Yash Romeo for his tireless running and general work rate and his precious goal.

Let's hope the other results have gone our way.

i thought Jordan done absolutely brilliant in the centre of midfield

Jacko kept us in it on a couple of occasions but so did their keeper for them

Sweeney did a fairly good job in centre of defence which isnt his favoured position as far as i know. Evans was much better than he has been the last few weeks and led the team better

both players up front work hard again and if not for better calling could have set each other and others up a few more times. thought Sealey looked bright and willing to work hard as well when he came on

another decent performance from Sinclair but my choice of Man of the Match would be Kyle Jeffrey at right back who yet again proved how well the youth team have been coached to this point. played with the experience of someone 5 or 10 years older most of the time imo

Winchester won away to Abingdon but both Bracknell and Taunton lost so results went our way pretty much as well

lets hope we back this up with another hard working performance on Tuesday night. faith and confidence is being restored just a bit and the players did what we as fans wanted to see a much much improved performance

A good solid performance from pretty much the whole team. Well done boys.

Great finish from Yash, he could easily have missed it from that range.

Still confused by the substitution of Platt for Sealey though, not quite sure why we went with that one when Platt was having quite a good game.

Hopefully we can take this on to Tuesday and put in a good game against Gosport.

Not a great game with little threat from both sides. Jeffrey definitely MOTM for me but defending is still a big issue.

A side from those mentioned, I would say that Kean did very well waiting on the edge of the area picking up any lose balls from Paulton's area keeping us in possession.

Bit wobbly at the end with Byron and Jacko combining to nearly throw it away but other than that 3 points gained is a step closer to safety.

Hats off to the lads after so many games in such a short space of time and great character shown after two heavy midweek losses, plus having to read a lot of the dross that's been written on this forum in the last week can't have been great for them.

One more win should guarantee the safety, but were all but there now. Agree with everyone that Kyle Jeffery had a very good home debut. Thought his pace and Sweeney's pace at the back was what we've been missing throughout the season as any ball over the top of the back four usually leaves the defence struggling.

Bit of a scrappy game, very similar to the Bracknell game, but also a mention to Yash who worked his socks off up front after the disappointment of midweek and DJ who played very well in centre mid.

Well done Rebels. Lets guarantee safety once and for all Tuesday night.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know what the winning number in the 50/50 was today,as i'm not sure if it was announced at half time.

Just what the doctor ordered after such a hard week , when nothing was going right for the Rebels..a gritty perormance from all the team...As I have said on many occassions if the team show they are trying and lose a match the fans are proberly the most fair minded and can accept a defeat..if however they shown not commitment there get very very frustrated..

today we all went home very very happy..

well done..cheers chris s
