I'm breaking my silence...

 

It was difficult on Saturday and we had what we had. A scratch team with players from the under 18's covering positions. We should try to get behind the team and the management for the remaining games because it's our club.

 

I appreciate it's difficult but it would be a lot easier for all if we could drop the moaning and recriminations and start getting behind the players. The young lads are not the full gravy yet and it will take time for them to settle and get used to the pace of the Premier League. Saying that, they have the potential and we should encourage them to realise that potential.

 

With other clubs wanting to keep players because of fixture pile ups, play off battles and relegation battles, we have what we have and it's about time our status as the "12th" man be reinstated. We have often been the difference and it's time to be the difference again.

I have to agree with your comment, You can see the team before you lift the game as soon as the fans give them a positive shout.

 

I think as much as is possible we should make the forum a negative free zone for the coming weeks and get behind BILLERICAY TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB.

My comments have obviously offended most of the click on here. In fairness I have never slagged off the young players, in fact they're the only real positive out of this season, in the way they have been able to step up.

 

I will try to leave the postings to 'the real fans' in future.

I agree with Gaz as well tongue.

 

We are going through a rough time at the moment with injuries and management along with trying to stay clear of the relegation battle with what we have available.

 

Hopefully some players will be available for Tuesday's game, Flack will hopefully be back, Leon is back from suspension, maybe even Gameo!
