Jade - the death of a celebrity I have no interest in as she was never that in the first place and she has departed the public eye the way she came in.... via a complete plastic farce engineered by idiots such as Davina "druggie" Mc Call, Max Clifford, Blair etc etc. A product of a sad part of our nation with a Basildon type mentality. What is a Basildon type mentality. I'm not from Basildon but if I were I'd be offended by that remark.

Its not meant at individuals and I think you know what I am getting at. Ok lets call it Chav Essex instead or Harlow mentality. Its about the concept of Town Bas or Town Harlow etc. The brainwashing of its residents to make them believe in burger, bad beer and big brother. Eastside Urchin
we call it romford mentality, which is a far worse place to live in than either of the two towns you have mentioned boroman. romford is a hole full of blokes who look like their best friends because they all have the same fathers

I have not lived in Romford for 25 years and now that we play at Aveley I dont ever go near the place. Although having spent 10 years working in Basildon I can relate to your example given. Like I said, its more of a Chave Essex thing. A type of person who worships the charecters that the likes of Big Brother produce.

I'm just thinking of the likes of Beeswax, Groynestrain and Richard 193, all of whom are Basildonites and are nothing like the characters you've described. I just felt it was a sweeping statement that's all. You can buy me a beer in the Millers' bar tomorrow and we can have a lively debate about it. Staines-upon-Thames Rebel
I have a zit on my nose - if I phone up Max Clifford and tell him its terminal how much do you think he could get me? I blame Andy Worhole for coming up with his theory of every one is famous for 15 minutes - problem is the gulible who read the likes of the Sun, Mirror etc. think its real, and that is why footballers wives now become celebrities, just because they are shagging a half rate player who is vastly overpaid and usually with limited brain cells. The dumb down nature of this country is why you have the media going mad over a person who is dying, who once appeared on a TV show. My father died of cancer, but he kept his illness private and died with far more dignity.

Let the circus begin. Is this an April fool? How about the Jade Memorial Cup played for by the following 8 clubs as a pre season tournament. Harlow Town Basildon United Bracknell Town Milton Keynes Dons Livingston Canvey Island Millwall Thamesmead Town Each game could have a Chav of the Match award!
