Our goal difference because of tonights defeat is the same as bracknells, andover are now above us in what is looking remarkably like the end of last season, bracknell do seem to have some difficult games ahead too and they are finding it difficult to score goals. I fancy us to win 2 or 3 of our remaining games.

Give Bateman time? He will have plenty of time in the Hellenic League next season if this carries on. If I thought Tuesday night was bad, this sounds much worse, glad i didnt go. How much more of this crap are we going to have to put up with? Need a major clearout of these players, and players in who want to wear the

shirt with pride.

Do people think 6 games is enough for the manager to make a massive impact? Get real. If the players are not good enough or have the wrong attitude then no manager can do a lot with them. I suspect very few of them will be there next season.

WR, how was it worse? The scoreline was bad, but this was mainly due to a harsh sending off whcih changed the game as we had the better of the exchanges at 11 v 11 and could quite easily have gone on to get a result.

As it was, Bridgwater made the extra man count and demonstrated how to finish. We continued to try and play football to feet and still looked dangerous with ten men. The main issue we have is the heads dropping when we concede and we go to pot.

Let's get behind the lads on Saturday and lift them up. Get this season out of the way and judge the new manager on what happens next season.

For the One hundred and fifteenth time they are not his players. You can't come in and wave a magic wand. You are not going to get the team and the finess of players (which I think has been a massive issue this season) and mindset changed in five minutes with about five training sessions.

Come on please!

Its far too early to Judge the manager.

Its also too late to get many new players in this season as isn't there a transfer deadline of 30th March? (Correct me if I'm wrong)

For this season its up to the players we have already got. If they perform as badly against Winchester and Taunton as they did against Burnham, then no amount of support from the terraces will make any difference. If however, they are decent players, they need to show it. Its all down to them now, and the question is will they perform or fold?

From another that was at the match last night.....

Those of you who travelled to AFC totton will know exactly how things panned out last night...Steve knows exactly what is wrong..and at this stage of the season is quite an impossible task to change..with less than 5 weeks to go...

I beleive we have the right men at the helm thats for sure...

we need the players to step upto the plate and dig deep and justify and show that they will die for the club, unfortunatly some have lost belief in themselves ..we know this can not go on..the team still is and will be our team until changes are made, everyone 's comments are justified, however the management team including all the board members hope that you will stay loyal and support our team to the last...

For god sake WE know its hard...We live and die for our club and of course want the best...but the new manager needs time ...and support from us all...and I know that you all do really / deep down..and are hit by frustrations like we all suffer..

Up the rebels...

Look the problem lies with the players we have. They have not performed under derek, and they are not performing under steve! And its not going to be sorted until the end of the season when they are got rid of.

W R your expecting too much and need to calm down,if you brought in Alex Ferguson it would make no difference until he brought his own players in!

If you cant get them to play, then you cant get them to play!

Derek or steve it would have made no odds who was in charge.

What are you talking about man? If I had played the game? It's common sense!! How can you inherit a team with:

- About FIVE training sessions

- A team very low on confidence

- A few players not fit enough (IMO)

- A team where you have to give the players a chance to see if they can be a part of the clubs future. For example as I said before he maybe could have got DJ scoring 25 goals again

- A team so lop-sided. Lack of width. Six centre backs, four strikers, One central midfielder

and get them working to how you want to in five minutes and picking up results. This is a non-league team, he sees them three times a week. Not every day.

The change of a manager was the right time, the results are a hangover of the Sweetman era. Bateman can only be judged given time. If I was him and reading some of this tosh i'd wonder if i'd really made the right decision. The time was right for Sweets to go and this proves it. The remaining ten games gives Bateman a chance to look at who he wants to keep and put things in place for next season.

Let me try and make it simple for you Windsor Rebel, if you try and bake a cake and have bad ingredients then your cake is not going to be great.

By the way I played for Burnham youth in my teens, but what this has to do with anything i'm not sure?

I'm sure you'll post again, but i'd be amazed if too many disagreed with the above.

windsor rebel...look at your postings ..the players read this and your motivation does wonders ...Chris above is totally right ..

point in question (the Bristol City manager) Gary cant remember his name arrived at Bristol City lost his first 10 games..until he could sort it out himself ..the following season took his team to the play off 's and is doing the same this season...if we did what you say we would be having a new manager every 10 weeks ....

please please please let him sort it out...everything chris has stated above is so so true..
