MARGATE SUPER-HERO & Share Issue

Great timing JJ. Are you employed by the opposition by any chance?.

Lets all just concentrate on the footballing side of things for now for goodness sake.

No-ones going to come in & be our saviour as far as we know so for now we have who we have & we must hope above all hopes that he will keep the wolves at bay for the forseeable future, not just for the time being. Its a big ask I grant & the signs are not very good but without others coming along with bulging wallets willing to put things right & willing to help our club we have to get on with it.

It's very very sad to say it but if this club does go by the wayside then we shall just have to deal with situation when & if that occurs.Preventative action would be the ideal,of course it would, but is there REALLY anyone out there with alternatives, alternatives that will be put into action rather than talking the good talk.I think not somehow.

The most important thing at the moment is that we have our players playing wholeheartedly for the club, without any distractions by getting as many points as they can starting on Saturday.

It might end up a fruitless effort at the end of the season but we have to believe that the club WILL go on & that we WILL be in this league next season.

Only getting results ON the pitch at the moment is going to be good for us in the short-term & hopefully in the long term too.Can we not just concentrate on that for the time being.

FFS One of the most annoying things we have to endure on here sometimes is the holier than f()ckind thou attitude "I'm a better supporter than you". We all want the club to win, stay up and survive. When clubs are doing poorly it's natural that gates drop and just because I pick and choose what games I attend does that make me less of a supporter-would people rather I not go at all?
JJ has been with this club a long time and has the right to raise this issue because it's very serious and anybody not worrying about-well, they're the dubious supporters (bugger, now I'm at it). Let's just hope we get this sorted and get the results, although knowing our luck we'll win our games but all to no avail. Now, lets cut out the I go to more games than you b()llocks and not daring to question anything and get things sorted.

We seem to have come back to JJ's favourite topic after just a couple of posts - change of ownership. Nows the chance. Register your interest to buy 500,000 shares at

One thing that has not been mentioned is whether the club have appealed against the last planning application. From what the architects were saying, they have never been treated so badly by a council before. Surely there is a case for the ombudsman. We apparently had good support at the meeting so considering the above I would have thought that an appeal would be obvious. Has anybody heard if an appeal was lodged.

As I said the other day, I do wonder if it would be for the best if the club in its current form went bust. Then a new club could be formed in the Kent League, involving, as you propose rayw, a Supporters Trust. We could be back playing at this level within five years...and DEBT-FREE.

The appeal held by the supporters last year raised

With respect, what about the people to whom the club owes money in a situation where we go bust?

Even harder if you are one of the people on the wrong end of it. Being a "hard knock" life doesn't make things right!
