Reserves at Ashford tonight

Good luck to the reserves in their floodlight game at Ashford tonight.

 

A tough game this one-we're not doing quite so well under lights as we are in the main division one league,where we still have a good chance of finishing runners up.

 

As an aside, it seems Ashford have a few off pitch issues to resolve unfortunately.

it seems we lost 3-0 .

 

Not so clever tonight.

 

Lets go for second place in the league one though just the same.

I was in ashford so i went to watch, Score does not reflect the game. For starters the reserves only had 11. 2 of which picked up injuries before the game! Treadwell and Winnett had knocks and had to play with them. The pitch looked waterlogged with puddles on the pitch, game had a delayed kick off because of it. First 20 minutes we conceded 2. Since then we had better possesion, but few chances. Coleman had a good game hitting crossbar and post in the 2nd half. team worked hard with olti playing better than saturday and Winnett did well considering his knock. Also we had only one known defender for me Argy. With Elliot playing at the back with someone else? Did not know the keeper either? But lets hope for a better game v Whitstable.

I don't know what team was pout there, but on the face of it-a bit disappointing to lose 3-1 to whitstable reserves on saturday

Well Beresford, Cliff and Taylor were sitting on the bench and Quain wandering around the ground, so I guess a few Under 18's in on Saturday?

Reverse fixture this saturday then;

 

Margate v whitstable in the league at HDP.

 

I'm sure we'll win this saturday
