Dorking 3-6 Farnham

Another terrible Tuesday for Chicks, as the defence decided to have the night off.

Farnham scored in the 16th and 18th minutes, both good finishes but the defence was awol. Page got one back on 20 minutes from a free kick, but Farnham made it 3-1 after they hit the bar from a free kick and scored from the rebound. Adrian Butler crossed the ball in the 28th minute but it sailed over the keeper's head and finished in the top corner. 3-2.

Second half and Page should have equalised straight away but his header was parried. Five minutes later Pero went on a run and hit a great shot that grazed the bar. Farnham looked dangerous every time they went forward and on 56 minutes the no.9 went on a run, had a shot 4-2. A couple of minutes later and a shot came in from the right wing 5-2. Farnham were awarded a penalty on 76 and scored to make it 6-2. Page got his second of the night to make it 6-3 two minutes later. Farnham were still causing problems and could in truth have had a couple more before full time.

The lights went out almost immediately after the final whistle, which seemed rather apt in the circumstances......

Excellent game at Krooner coming from 1 down Camberley fought back to gain a creditable win against a very good looking Chertsey, with young Gavin Muir outstanding on the left wing.

Horley Town 2-1 Raynes park

Horley down to 10 men after 15 minutes then went 0-1 down, but for rest of game Horley were awsome you would think Horley had the extra man.

Before game....

Ref: "As you know i'm being assessed tonight so i can't ref the game like normal."

Not the first time he's said it to me either, what a joke.

Goes on to give poor decisions for both sides when the game should have flowed. Booked 2 of our players for back chat (fair enough) but when a Sandhurst player chats back he just gets a telling off, do me a fooking favour. Don't know why i fooking bother anymore, i really don't

And no kroons i'm not blaming him for our loss, that was firmly put at some of my players but i've been really pi$$ed off with some of the officials i've seen this season, completely baffles me.

Great 3 points for Horley.

Reduces to 10 men after about 15 mins, concided a goal when it looked like the centre back was fouled,Horley scored a goal 10 mins before the break and then from then on Raynes Park could not handle the movement from Horley.

A penalty kick with 15 to go put Horley 2-1 up.

A couple of chances after that for Horley that could of made it 3 or 4 but all in all a great battling performance.

Badshot Lea 3-2 Bookham

Disappointed to lose a game which if we had taken the chances created in the 1st 20 mins we would have been 4 up, played some great football 1st half with chance after chance being created as we tore into Badshot hitting the woodwork 4 times in the 1st 45 mins, a great performance but after taking a 4th min lead could not get the second which allowed Badshot to equalise. 2-1 up early into the second half, but Badshot did start to get a hold of the game as equalised and got the winner 15 to go, had some half chances after that but could not get an equaliser.

Played some of the best football all season and great place to play football at, but errors throughout the team cost us the points, good performance but cut the errors out and you win the game.

Slight disagreement with Flint. Only one team playing first half and that was Chertsey. Cambo looked ok for first 10 mins but then just resorted to the big hump forward. The pleasing thing was Cambo defnded well and restricted Chertsey to a couple of half chances. Chertsey fully deserved to be 1 up at the break. 2nd half started much the same and Chertsey missed a couple of chances to extend their lead. With about 25 mins left Cambo suddenly found some life and fed the left winger constantly who frightened the life out of Chertsey. He won the pen which Sillsy missed. An equalizer was always on the cards and Cambo got it with 5 to go from an og when the ball rebounded from the post and off a defender and in. Think a draw would have been fair but in the 90th min great work down the left saw a fantastic cross which the CF couldn't miss. And he didnt !

I think the comment went along the lines of :-

"But I am the groundsman do I have to pay"

"Yes you tight kent we pay you enough money to cut the fecking grass so you can fecking well pay to get in. Kent"

Sorry Krooner I don't quite understand your disagreement with my original comment as I said Chertsey were very good and the fact we had held them to a single goal and then went on to win was very creditable.
