God damn he use to annoy me at times he could be so lazy and disinterested in a game, he seem to take far to many touches at times, then to make it worse he would miss the most dreadful sitters..... but when he was up for it he could go past players with ease and score quite outstanding goals.

Providing he didn't want an unrealistic wage may be worth giving him another a go... i think i may be one of a minority saying that we all had our mixed opinions on him back in the nomadic days at Ashford.

Having said all that i would rather have the Manche back smile

Not sure Rocky would fancy a relegation scrap. Che on the other hand, I'd fancy him in a scrap.

So you missed watching him loiter around for 90 minutes week after week, making sure everybody could see he was far too important to give a toss about Margate or its supporters. All the more bloody annoying when he has proved before and since that he can make an effort when he wants to.

There was a player with dreadlocks training with the first team tonight, couldn't get a close enough look but could possibly be Rocky.

If he was tall, have seen him before training with them, not sure who it is though?

Ok Geoff, a fair point. But some of the youngsters are playing for nothing now, and at least they make an effort. It was the not trying that p****d me off.

I am willing to forgive and forget though. If he comes our way and saves us from relegation I will be quite happy to regard him as a hero.

Much as I liked Rocky as a player, and to be fair when I spoke to him he seemed a really nice person, I just wonder whether his style of play would fit in today's side. No doubt he would adapt as a good pro would but there seems to be so much energy there at present, and I really think Kenny Pratt is going great, that I wonder if Rocky's laid back style would fit.

A good player though.
