Indeed tree,at the least it should be advertised on a couple of boards around the ground and in the tea bar and i am sure the club wouldn't have a problem in putting something in the programme, next home game is hastings on the 4th,don't know if this is too soon or maybe the harlow game on monday the 13th and arrange the meeting for a couple of nights after.

I think sundays after a saturday home game will be awkward for some of our loved up followers

after harlow we have a home game on the following thursday and then again on the saturday so it may be difficult to arrange for that week.Probably the best week would be after the Harlow game, maybe one night that week, thursday may be the best night, this could also be "club" night,or even the friday????

We can definatly put the word about before the quiz and after we get back from hendon sunday i am sure there will be time to discuss it beforehand.I think tree is right about maybe advertsing it at a game though as to get as many fans involved and knowing about it as possible, not everyone will be at the quiz but the majority of fans will be at the next couple of home games.I would say thursday is the better day as there is no football on tele usually and more should turn up

Can you get any fliers produced to hand out to all sections of the crowd?

How about 'Hornchurch Supporters Club' sponsoring player of the match for one of our home games this season? (Does anyone know how much this is?). If feasible, then I would suggest the bank holiday match or the Hastings match - or both if we can raise enough money to start it all off.

Put an advert in the programme, hand out flyers, and get it announced over the tannoy.

This could be combined with an advert for coach travel.

Supporters clubs normally include the running of the bar as this would be the largest form of income and where most of the fund raising events would be held.

As with a lot of games this season people would rather meet in the Yeaoman rather than use our facilities.

When the Euros was on, only a hand full came to the club to watch matches.

I presume this attitude would need to change.

The takings from the bar must go directly to the club to finance wages etc. People using the club will, i think, increase now that sky is available again.

we would not want to take a penny from the bar,we would be using the clubs facilities on "supporters clubs nights" and other events.

Any monies raised would invariably be used for supporters & the club only.

I have had some pms from other clubs with ideas help which i am grateful of.
