Cheshunt v's ETFC

I agree that it was two poor sides and was decided by the one moment of quality in the game.

As a match it was pretty poor just the fact it was a local derby kept the fans interested. Two poor teams in my opinion in a poor division but you edged it so well done.

Can't disagree with you there.

Good luck for the remainder of the season. drinkies

I thought Cheshunt played better than, reading the forum, I had expected. The problem seems to me to be that they recognise that they are likely to have to score two (or more) goals to win a game, but don't have the confidence in their fire power to do so. They looked a decent forward away from being not a bad side.

One forward away from being a poor side to a 'not a bad side'??? Surely at least 2-3 players needed.

Anyway lets get away from improving our opponents, even though I appreciate where your coming from. And recognise some of the excellent individuels we have in our team/squad. We just need to hang on and add to them.

Two poor teams? again I cant disagree however I'd say more a poor footballing game which we could have scored 4-5 goals.

I agree May was outstanding (again) however MOM in my view was to Winston on the fact he ran his socks off and finally broke his duck with a Bergkamp like touch which this and previous performances deserved, difference being it was his first chance that fell on his stronger right foot, he is very intelligent, very mobile for someone who needs to get training and (last night) certainly more effective than Ellis, who I am also a fan of.

2-3 players ? Dont you mean half a team . Chesnuts were piss poor and they look to have problems behind the scenes to me .

I agree more should have hit the back of their net .

May was the one that stood out for me .
