CZ! You seem to have got into the regular habit of addressing or referring to people by their proper names on this forum.

The purpose for people to use forum names rather than their own is because they wish to conceal their identities from others who they don't wish to reveal it to. If they want them to know it they will tell them in person.

That is why the forum offers them the opportunity to do so.

Please respect that ethos !

I am sure that is one of the points that will be brought up by one or two people at the appropriate moment. drinkies

TB&G - Good point but the people who run Mauritius Sports are far too good hearted to even think about doing such a thing and I doubt they even realise the under hand practice is taking place, it was the same when Waltham Forest played at Wadham Lodge as anyone who has been there knows that you get a grandstand view of the entire pitch from the upstairs bar.

TB&G - I think you owe Mauritius Sports an unreserved apology for suggesting that they are a poorly supported Club, indeed I'll go as far to say they are one of the best supported in the Essex Senior League however punters know the underhand trick of watching games from the bar and don't pay.

Then they're not well supported are they?

Hello Rhodes,

Are you the same Rhodes who I have already discussed this matter with and if so why do you come back at me when we have, in my opinion at least, already talked this matter out.

However, I have to agree with Hookey in that true supporters are those who, irrespective of if they can watch the match from outside the ground, support their club by paying at the turnstyles. There is no other type of supporter!

I have a friend who, although he is entitled to an OAP concession always insists on paying the full wack at our home games. That is a true supporter.

Oh, by the way I have a season ticket myself so my club gets my money up front each season.

Just take a look at this to see if they are one of the best supported clubs in the ESL!

Regards,

Tbag.

They are very nice people, but surely not too nice to cover the windows every home game. A windowless bar is probably the answer !

Its a good talking point actually for our new ground. Should it be pay to get in then go to the bar or vica versa?

Like I said I don't think Mauritius Sports have even contemplated doing that and even if they have I don't think they would stoop so low and be made out to look the villians of the peace, besides I don't believe the Club have a say about what goes on in the bar or keep any of the takings, it's not built into their hire agreement.

Your such a Gent TB&G I was going to call him a cocopiece!

Only Rhodes could come up with "mauritius are the best supported team in the ESL. It's just their fans don't choose to come and watch them."
