A very tenacious Sandhurst got taught a lesson in football today..Whilst it was obvious the thugs that manage the team had sent them out with a game plan I don't think they knew the calibre of team they were up against..We have players in Piercey,Sheerwood,Bates,Fergie,Russell, Who love a bit of rough and we also have players who with their skill can sometimes make players look stupid...( No 5 skipper for Sandhurst being one..and why he tried to take the Weeble on at 0-3 down in a verbal..well I can still put a centre half in my pocket even when I am not playing..)We played most of the game in 2nd gear which annoyed me as I wanted us to smash them 5 or 6 but after hearing todays results 0-3 seems a really good score line..

Parting shot,,Sandhurst you are a bunch of kickers with thugs as managers and today you got found out...

We frustrated Chertsey with a great team performance on to conceed on 88 mins but to show the true spirit at the club scored a 90th min equaliser and deserved it too.

Not the best of games at Ash, but we improved after the break & got the all importants goal 10mins into the 2nd half. More valuable points to get away from danger, even talk now of a top ten finish after such a poor 1st half to the season. Keep the good work up Bonzo & the team

Have to say I agree with most of what Weeble said. Every single header Sandhurst challenged for, the elbows were high. Absolutely no need for it. It took just 51 seconds for Green to take the lead and the win never looked in doubt. Can't remember a save the Green goalie had to make.

 

Not a very good game to watch as one team was in cruise control and the other had no answer.

 

As for the Sandhurst management, their abuse of the Bedfont bench was appalling. Nuff said on that really.

A disappointing and frustrating game for us this afternoon .After missing a couple of early chances the game became very scrappy and had there been a betting hut I would have lumped heavily on the 0-0 as it's quite difficult to get any other result with a ref who gave a free kick every 7.2 seconds .Not to mention the 15 000 throw ons on the far side which was an indicator of the quality on show.

 

However full credit to HW who battled hard and showed the required attitude and fully deserved their point .

 

Disappointing was the no shows from one or two of our regulars when we were playing bottom of the table oppo. I'm assuming they'll all show up for the semi on Thursday.

 

Re Sandhurst I can believe it because when we played down there as soon as we went 2-0 up they were only interested in starting a fight.

 

Anyway it aint over till its over ... It was considered impossible for Liverpool to win the league 8 days ago ..
