ETUFC v ETFC Latest

Scoreline

Thought you guys put up a good show today, was impressed with your 4 looked a tower of strength. I thought we always looked the more likely to score, but a good game played in the right spirit. Shame Rudi Hall always wants to get involved ...he was the cause of your lad getting sent off. Rudi has probably seen his best days at ETFC, and needs to move on for his good and yours but that is sometimes hard to accept if a player has shown such good service / loyalty. If you can keep the faith in the existing Management set up then those guys will do a good job for. All the best for the rest of the season.

Thanks Miller, I've been trying to put an exact view across to our supporters for ages but they just pick on one sentence out of a thousand to throw back at me.

You Aveley lot had a good gate today, how've you managed to increase attendences? other than being top of the league of course.

I think the "gate" was improved on 2 count

1, ETFC Supporters - as usual

2, Aveley Youth section in there hundreds !!!

As for the Rudi comments - have a word with your 15 who actually started it all by refusing to let Rudi collect the ball.

As for Wild - well just stupid having ben booked earlier. Stupid anyway regardless.

Oh do stop moaning!

I think the reason several of us pick up on certain sentences you write is that over the course of a months postings you change your views with the wind, except where SM & SB are concerned that is & for the life of me I cannot understand why you are so biased with your postings concerning them, but I think we all respect your views even if we dont agree with them.

Well we had our U9's at the last home game and am planning to bring along the U11's for this weeks home match v's Potters Bar.

We may also be able to get the U16's down too, hopefully with the Middlesex Cup which they play in the Final of this Thursday evening against Pinnacle Youth U16's at Hanwell Town FC, all Town supporters welcome to cheer them on ofcourse, I'll be going anyway.

That would be good news, but whats in it for them, how are the club going to get into the 'non going' youth section, family and friends bloodstream so that watching a Town game is a norm when, lets face it, they have nothing arranged on a Saturday afternoon?

It takes two to tango, the club have to have attractions as well as a first team playing a decent level of footy. At the mo we have the highest attendences at our level so we need to push on to the next level.

It's not rocket science.

Aveley have a good youth and junior soccer set up with girls football aswell.

NO DIFFERENT TO TOWN.

But they make sure that all groups and ages "get involved" by inviting them to the Club, play freindly games on the pitch, hold competition days like Saturday and MAKE SURE the young Players bring at least "some" parents along.

They don't do it as One Offs at the end of season - it happens all the time.

3 years ago ( when Aveley were not in a high position ) my team palyed there Youth team in League matches and their guys talked about the first team all the time.

How many of our Youth set up talk about Town etc ?

I can name you 2 boys, but they are my ones, oh and Glens boy know the players too. Total =3.

I think your right there, ETFC has to run like a family and any decent family should love their children and respect their elders too, in any decent society anyway.

I do believe some strides albeit tentative ones, are being made now, its just setting a structure in place that will continue it, this will also need a few more hands on deck in my view.
