Well hello Hannah.i don't think we have met.

Why would you want to close this lovely?

I have found it very imformative and has brought to my attention a couple of Grade A Foxes.

Nice one.

Should be about four years before your next post then.

I actaully agree with Bernard on this post. Hardly any Fleet fans are posting on it anyway.

It would hurt Gary though Bernard as he did spawn this monster.

And basically it's just boring and irrelevant.

The shout box is there for this sort of thing, so use it!

Hi, it's one of the bridge-building internet geeks saying hello ...

I think if a MyFCer is building bridges with Unc, I am doing quite well!! I have also built bridges with Bitch, Cantos and Busta - all very lovely people. And some others too. And I am learning a lot about the culture of the club. It's a good thread.

Yes that's right! Why do people ask for threads to be closed when others are finding them interesting and are enjoying posting on them? I don't understand it, lol!

Hello hannah, BTW. I am Sal.

And bascially it's just boring and irrelevant.

The shout box is there for this sort of thing, so use it!

well I suppose its a good thing that we all have different opinions...and of course your opinions are not factual hannah... just subjectively your opinions...obviously not shared by some of the others.....personally I think the thread is quite humorous and most friendly and of course you could always not post on it if its so boring and irrelevant (as indeed most threads tend to be)...smile

It always amuses me to see the forum trolls come out to slate a thread after reading it and re reading it, and they'll keep on reading it, moan about it, moan about people reading it, reading it some more and telling us all not to read it or post on it. evil

I like Gravesend & Northfleet supporters better than i like the Moonie Loonies. smile

This is my message to G&E supporters

When youre weary, feeling small,

When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;

Im on your side. when times get rough

And friends just cant be found,

Like a bridge over troubled water

I will lay me down.

Like a bridge over troubled water

I will lay me down.

When youre down and out,

When youre on the street,

When evening falls so hard

I will comfort you.

Ill take your part.

When darkness comes

And pains is all around,

Like a bridge over troubled water

I will lay me down.

Like a bridge over troubled water

I will lay me down.

Sail on silvergirl,

Sail on by.

Your time has come to shine.

All your dreams are on their way.

See how they shine.

If you need a friend

Im sailing right behind.

Like a bridge over troubled water

I will ease your mind.

Like a bridge over troubled water

I will ease your mind.

It may be 'humourous and most friendly' but there's plenty of other forums on this site for this sort of chat. There's actually a forum for new members to meet everyone. People browse this particular forum for news about Ebbsfleet United. That's all I'm saying here.

But whatever, like Stu said, people don't have to read it.

I have always said, I stand up for the ordinary members on there. There's a lot who feel like me but many don't like to say it on the forum. I get a lot of nice PMs, though!
oh and I always bite, lol!

okay lets get back on topic.....we have established that brunel designed and built bridges...we have established that none of you have the foggiest idea who the real officer was who built the bridge at kwai... (lt colonel phillip toosey of the royal engineers)

so lets try this one...who built the best bridges in the southern hemisphere 1200 years ago that still survive today... and RIGHT on topic...why did they build them...?

Was it the Incas rope bridge? After they pulled the rope over after they'd crossed, they could leave the gap impassable to outsiders laugh
