As spotted on the Spartan League site..

Best and worst grounds you have visited this season. Criteria is you can not comment on your own club and try not to be to disrespectful.

Best Lowestoft.

Worse by a long way was Pitsea Bowers,

To be found in the middle of a housing estate the pitch was toilet and it was at the front end of the season 'God knows what its like now' you could get a burger and a tea inside the ground at half time if you orderd it before kick off. The club were told to expect a reasonable sized crowd but only had 1 person serving in the club house, The poor girl was out of her depth.

No warm welcome to be found there from anyone!

Unleash hell boys.. smile

Find this hard to comment on really as some of the grounds that spring to mind have people who are pulling out all the stops. It's easy to say Clapton but when we played them they had worked really hard to get the pitch ready got some hot drinks on the go and this seemed to have been done by one guy.

I'm going to say for this season mark you ( And I'm not saying it to cause an argument ) hullbridge for obvious reasons. I have never known them to be more unfriendly than they were this season. What made me smile yesterday when coachie was moaning about Takely not returning the ball, reminded me of an incident in their boardroom, when our chairman said how much extra time there had been in he first half. Someone in there boardroom quite aggressively said well your lot should of been getting the ball. Someone answered sorry mate I thought we were spectators! All in all he was a right kent! So for me this season I would say hullbridge. And the weather didn't help.

Which one is me? laugh

Mate, I can't even walk to the loo at the moment, never mind Basildon. Turned my ankle badly crossing Bishopsgate on Thursday and badly sprained it, thought I'd broke the fecker.

I'll hobble over to Bas Town then Bas Utd later though.
