hi all just wondering is nathan bailey still at your club and how is he doing

been injured, not looked outstanding i have to say, a mate of mine plays for your ressies and says in practice games against him he was lightning on what ive seen not so.

i think he is a kent league player and he probaly was quick because he plays at a higher level than them

I really hope it works out for him. I was stood next to his parents at the weekend, and they drove down from Reading with him, and apparently do each time he travels. They are obviously immensely proud of him and want him to do well, to the point where they visible ache when a pass or cross doesn't come off etc.

 

I appreciate that this is all sentiment, and not football. I also appreciate that there are probably also 10(ish) other proud sets of parents dotted around, but it kinda makes you realise just what playing football means to these guys and their families.

 

And (at risk of raking over old coals) it also makes you realise how the boo boys can destroy a player if they wish, and why they and loved ones react the way they do.

did`nt get a look in at Dover really only making 1 app for them in the 1st team but under Ty & Nev he could turn out to be what we are looking for . Up the Gate .
