With Regards to This Thread

We dont expect any trouble whatsoever! It's Slough fans telling us of an incident when they played you. We dont pay to much attention to our freinds from the wrong side of the river!

I also saw a comment saying we wont be taking many next week. We dont get many at home so of course we wont be! laugh A mini bus full and a couple of people making their own way down...including one from Liverpool! Some what confusingly more people are coming down for this one that the saturday match!!!

Also does anywhere near the ground sell this? It's the only cider i've ever enjoyed

Cider

Look at this, the thread has gone from a Slough fan stating there are thugs waiting for us, a few exchanges and then to a friendly chat about where to get the local cider. To be honest there are so few places at our level that would or could expect trouble you would hear about it a mile away (Wealdstone and Romford spring to mind)

well Kern, we shall see you in the bar, would love to say good luck for Saturday, but secretly hoping (quite clearly in vain, Winchester isn't it?) that you have a slip up he he!!

A win for each of us Saturday and this game just gets bigger and bigger.

Hi everyone,I am another Truro City fan.I can tell you honestly there are no thugs down here waiting to cause trouble. It matters not if you bring a mini bus load or 100 you will be welcomed and treated with respect as fans supporting your team.To be fair if someone came down and started taking the p*ss out of our team and start throwing insults about you would expect that an arguement to take place with some fans,as we would expect if we went to your home ground and insulted your club.

Putting all that stupid stuff aside,we are really looking forward to this match, and is already being billed as our bigest game since we played Totton at Wembley. So lets hope for a very good game of football and may the best team win as we know this is a very important game for both of us.

Woody, you or Mrs Cat were going to look into and sort that out.

KIT, we are really looking forward to this too. We had a similar game against Lewes a few years ago, we won it and looked dead certs. We then came fourth in a three horse race.

This is a very important game, and may well decide who wins the league, but really just hope both teams play to their best and the better team wins (which I hope is us!!)If that happens then whoever wins deserves it. Almost makes you wish we could just have a winner takes all game.

Look forward to seeing you Tuesday, how many do you think will be there by the way?

Thanks for taking the time to join our forum as well, who knows we might meet again in the league next year one way or another...

Fuzzy, I'll check out some pubs for the way down later on today. I'll try to find somewhere just off the M5.

I'm looking forward to the game on Tues, if both teams play as well as possible it should be a great spectacle. I still think we can beat any team at this level when we are on song but I suspect the Truro fans probably think the same about their team.

As big a game as this is, let

Winchester, whilst poor, gave 100% against us a few weeks ago. So who knows what COULD happen but i expect a Truro win. However all we have to do is focus on our results!
