And when I say result, i mean REEEEESULT!

 

Half time: Guildford City 0 - 2 Sandhurst Town

 

Pretty dull first half, Sandhurst had two good opportunities of which they scored one, and then conjured up a piece of magic for the second goal. Guildford playing OK but not really threatening despite being on top.

 

Full time: Guildford City 3 - 2 Sandhurst Town

 

City were all over Sandhurst in the second half, piling on the pressure but kept at bay by a series of saves by the keeper.

Eventually Harrison Carnegie latched onto a through ball (hoof) and buried the first, before Cory Knight (sp?) equalised late on. But more was to come...

 

In the 95th minute, a Sandhurst Town player was, perhaps harshly, adjudged to have handled in the area and the resulting penalty was converted to lift Guildford out of the bottom three for the first time in many months.

 

Let's just hope Chessington and Hook can continue their current run of form...
