Any chance of.....

some water?......

Never thought I'd say this but any chance of some water on Bedfont's pitch before our home game vs South Park on Saturday?

Had a look tonight and it's like concrete in the box and centre circles, little bit of water should soften it up and stop the ball bobbling all over the shop.

I've just got back from Meadowbank.

Pitch is good apart from centre circle and goal-mouths. Very dusty.

what was better the plastic pitch or the bone hard pitch , not like you to have a moan. Why don't you go over and put the water hose on. before the game and soften up the goalmouth.

You normally just get on with it.HEHE

Glad to see ur still about.

Here's one for you....

Whenever I have played or watched games on plastic, players adapt to a different type of game...I didn't see as many diving headers, good sliding tackles but did see more players with lower back and knee problems..( Feltham probably helped me having to have a total knee replacement at 43..)

It must also be a nightmare for keepers. What are you views guys...

Wacko, you never did dive must on the plastic pitch , but i don't blame you either, Nor did Weeeble slide tackle , he does not know the meaning of that word (Tackle). Is Dave still down at Feltham. speak soon
