I'll smile at most things, but up an [****!!****]???????? No thanks.

 

One reason I chat with Steve and first team coach Mickey Leslie is that I too am a footy coach with reasonable qualifications. SB and ML have vastly superior experience in footy management so chatting about ins and outs helps me in my coaching. In all respects they too listen to many of the things I observe too, not that they act on them. And before you lot start jumping on it, yes, I share views with SM too.

 

So thats how I know that they are actually doing a great job in difficult circumstances.

Behave, what difficult circumstances? A part time job for some pin money, no diffrent from any other manager in this or any other level 3, 4 or 5 club.

It was an open supporters' meeting so there were no 'private club' issues.

No doubt all supporters will be informed of the outcome of the meeting by the communicative board. QE11 - keeping track of developments.

About 50 people attended the meeting.

I mentioned last night that the number of lanes at the stadium was to be 8 as discussed in forum meetings chaired by the leader of the Council.

 

Things have now changed but we were not informed of roll on stands, just the transfer of stands from Brimmo to QE11.

Queen Elizabeth II Stadium - Athletics Track

In response to a question from a resident the Council had had discussions about the number of lanes to be included in the athletics track at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, Councillor Michael Rye stated that his statement at the October 2008 Area Forum that there would be eight lanes was correct at the time. However, by locating the football club there,meant that consideration was given to a roll-on stand being provided going

across the track. This would cause potential damage to the track and after discussions with Enfield Athletics Partnership, the number of lanes proposed had to, unfortunately, be reduced to six. It was expected that works would be completed by April 2010.

What a shame you have such an "anti attitude" towards Town.

When we eventually do go...your Club will just fall apart unless ETFC continue to support it.

Oh almost forgot I was at a "park football" reserve match at Brox Boro last week . looks like its taking shape over there quite nicely . Shot youselfs in teh foot there didnt we. Might had reduced the 50k Plus whatever english heritage add on if youd played yor cards right .
