There is a fantastic massive website called drowned in sound , they did there best albums of the year so far, I usually trust this site, last year they gave the Streets album of the year while reaconised that Coldplay weren't that great, I've only brought a few new realise albums this year but two of them Junior Senior and Hot Hot Heat were in this poll. They recommend this album, so I listened to a couple of tracks on the site and it was ace! Very mellow, kind of Beth Orton-like.

Last single was ace, so brought it on strenth of that

 

Evan Dando - Stop my head single

I used to like the lemonheads

 

Will spend the morning (after a kip) listening to these and i'll rate them later

Yes, particularly 'I can dream can't I' and 'Glad to be happy'. They suited my mood yesterday <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Not sure about AC/DC though, I find his voice slightly grating.

Yeah, but 'California Dreamin' cheered me up no end. I love it when music does that to you, it can just change your mood completley and make you think in a different way. I think I'll stick to my CD collection in future, it keeps me happy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
