indeed.. its not just the beer (tho that is always good) its the getting up for work after minimal sleep, getting in on time (ish) and not whinging .. its just a great test of mental strength.. and extra bonus points for doing it on a monday!!

i shall be out on it tonight in fact im starting at 3 pm straight after some karting at the outdoors track at lakeside

I was bang on time for work, I will get some shut eye in a bit though (as long as the good ship silverlink remains steady)

as long as you get in , anything after that is fine... in more enlighetend times here in the 'good old days' if people got in on time (7.15am) after a huge session the boss used to make em get the breakfasts in for everyone (just to add to the feelings a nausea) then let em go home at 11.00 am.. obviously the hard core went straight back down the pub

ahhhh just got in.. very very very ugly session starting at lunchtime... i have to be up at 5.30 am... ill be in the office at 7.15 am... men n boys thornsy.. men n boys!

mm been here nearly half an hour now... it hurts but naturally professional pride means i have to start arranging lunchtime beers now... this is the measure of an employees true worth.. the ability to handle pain and carry on regardless.. something you student spongers with your poncy lectures at 10 am will never understand... what im feeling now is what the empire was based on...... ouch

mm i am actually quite thirsty now the shock of the early morning has worn off...mmm crisp cool lager in a frosted glass... better have some brekky first tho

Stayed off it yesterday. I'd like to say I feel better for it but it would be a complete lie. Few beers tonight with the UEFA Cup Final though!!

 

Oh hang on, just remembered. I had a couple of glasses of chiraz with my poached salmon when I got in last night. Ooops.
