Looks like the website sponsorship is over...

Recommended Posts

I think he is referring to the new match sponsorship costs of £500 (+VAT!) for a category A match. Does seem a lot to me for a few sandwiches and a couple of drinks.

And while I'm on the subject, could the player sponsorship not be broken down into shirt, shorts, socks, boots, laces as before so it is more affordable for people? £100 (+VAT) is a lot of money for your average fan to pay.

Michele Sinclair can speak for herself but it seems to me that the match sponsorship packages are aimed at the "corporate sector".

[Not that you dot-com millionaires aren't corporate, Webbo. And partial to the odd prawn sandwich, I imagine.]

Apart from anything else, admission, programme, light refreshments and a complimentary bar. How much does that lot cost? £15 or so? I'm not sure that The Club made very much out of the generous match sponsorship over the last couple of seasons.

There are plenty of opportunities for individual fans to support the club financially as we will all find out soon, no doubt. I've heard a couple of the ideas from that Chairman of The Supporters Club chap and it's going to be good next season.

Oi Rob!

Were you the one with the beard on The Supporters Club stall at the Highfield Park Jubilee Fun Day Extravaganza Thing on Saturday? If so, well done to you and your team. Good effort. The new away shirt looks very good.

Beard? Heaven forbid. I suspect it was that getalonggang chap, did he have a bacardi breezer in one hand?. I was unfortunately unable to attend due to events in the far east. Still, good to hear it all went well, maybe there will be some pictures in one of the local rags. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" />
