Slough 0-0 Bracknell

Game of very few chances against a side who I thought were quite well organised, despite their league position.

Not the best of matches, but some encoraging signs though as I thought we tried to play football on a difficult pitch, changing our style from what we did under Sweetman.

Was very impressed with Sinclair, his workrate will mean he becomes a fans favourite and also a mention to Rory Smith on his return from injury as he played very well.

As for Bracknell if they can find a goalscorer, they might be able to get themselves out of trouble.

link up in attack still isn't quite right for us

Sinclair didn't look fully fit but the intelligence of which he played with was very impressive and he sent in a fair few crosses. considering he didn't seem to know anyone really (especially pointed out when he stopped going across field to take a corner as he thought harper was going to take it) he did very well indeed and the sort of player we have been desperate for for ages.

fairly good performance but we rarely looked like scoring so its a slightly disappointing draw and Bracknell will be fairly happy with their effort

wouldn't quite go as far as to say that it was 2 points dropped but would have liked us to have had a few more efforts at goal. players don't seem to have that good of an understanding of each other but that will come

The tension was there, could have cut it with a knife - Slough had the greater possession and Bracknell harldy had a shot to worry jacko all match , all in all a result that was not a disaster, Bracknell are playing catch up and after todays results , the point is a gain .

Not too bad a game, seems like the wings are now doing most of the work and it was a pity we could not get passed their goal keeper ( to many high crosses) which he seemed to handle quite well.

Would it have been different if we were playing a better taem ?

Saying that it looks like Bateman is doing a fair job at the moment.

Not forgetting the keeper made a couple of decent saves, the whole team looks more solid and relaxed in their build up which is what is needed to string a few results together.

Have to admire bracknell manager was quickly onto our new number 7 and put two men on him but he was still effective.

Bracknell will certainly stay up on this performance, good luck to them.

Decent enough performance generally, it's a shame we couldn't force a few more chances but defensively we looked more organised, and the midfield were well in the game. Liked the look of our newest signing, he looked very useful on the wing today.

Let's hope we can build on this work today and create some chances against Totton next week.

If its saying he sounded like a Geordie when he kept shouting Howay, that would be me smile

Thought it was a pretty dull game, but on the bright side i thought we looked good at the back and the new lad sinclair had a very good game and looks useful. Their keeper made two cracking saves and i dont remember Jacko having any shots of note to deal with so thought we maybe just shaded it, but a draw was the fair result!

I thought that we didnt adapt to what was needed to break down the barrier to the bracknell goal.

They had a tall keeper and we tried to knock balls in the box, no wonder there were no chances. We should have been playing through the middle trying shots low on the ground in order to score as he was going to cut out our crosses all day.

I thought there were some good plus points from the game.

We kept a clean sheet and looked solid at the back.

Both Ryan Fenton, back after a two game suspension and Rory Smith, along with debutant Steve Sinclair had excellent games.

Main negative is that we are still missing that creative spark from mid-field.

A minor point but both write ups (official and Rebels on-line) have not put down Steve Sinclair as being subbed.
