rhodes...any idea why the lights at the ground were still on at 10.34pm? Seems a long time after the game finished or was there a delay due to a long injury?

I always thought that you couldn't score direct from a throw in ??????? Two nil down when the penalty was missed in the dying minutes , never mind . Committee passes and the rest of the supporters climbed the fence ! Same old Hatfield .

No way Robin, flicked off the top of the bald one and straight in. Hatfield penalty dubious too, Beck had good close control but no-one put the foot out to tackle. Hatfield deserved the win but they got the breaks in the game which helped.

 

Commitee passes??? Surely only the management team and chairmen should be exempt?

LATO - Good question, I left the ground after 10.30 and wondered why the lights hadn't been switched off in order to save electricity although, having said that, there is little other lighting at the ground. At Haringey Borough John Bacon always switched two or three of the pilons off immediately after a game but perhaps that's not possible at the Viking Sports Ground. Why not come down for the Brache Sparta game next Tuesday evening.
