Sorry to hear this.

Knowing the players read these comments, I would like to wish Louis all the best for a speedy recovery, and hope to see you in a blue shirt again next season.

As Louis did not have the opperation till mid December I am not surprised that he cannot walk properly yet. After all it is only recently that he has come off crutches. All I can say that last Saturday he told me he expects to be back playing in September.

Hoever, as I am not an Orthopaedtic Surgeon I can not possible pass judgement on the actual date for his return to football.

The injury louis received was worst than expected and yes he has got to stay positive but a ruptured cruciate ligament takes longer to repair. I believe he had part of his hamstring removed to repair the cruciate. Although the hamstring will repair quikely not many people recover 100% from a ruptured cruciate ligament.

I hope Louis does break the mould because he is a nice lad who was just getting recognised for his potential.
